Welcome to the MMUMC Chancel Choir Notes Page!

Our Mission: As an inclusive community of faith, believing in God as revealed in Jesus Christ, we are committed to building and nurturing Christian disciples through worship, study and service. Affirming each person's unique gifts and talents, we invite others into a loving and prayerful relationship with God. As the scattered church of Jesus Christ, we are sent forth into the world to serve others and to build a just society that points to God's Grace.

Chancel Choir - 2009-2010

Now thank we all our God with heart, hands and voices,
What wondrous songs throughout the year, have been sung,
Whom the Chancel Choir rejoices.

Our soul took part, acclaiming God above,
and with a well tuned heart,
We sang out the anthems of Love.

Each anthem had a hidden majesty of God and his divinity.
Directed by our Leader, We sang Lord that Descendest Holy Child, then traveled to the National Art Gallery, performed the Messiah at our Church,
Then Kum, Ba, Ya on the steps, We sang from Praise to God in the highest , to Go out with Joy,

God's Love conquered through it all,
We answered to God's call.
Now off we go to vacation and this ends my presentation.
